Molybdenum Market Figures
In October, molybdenum concentrate production was approximately 26,000 tons, an increase of 7.86% month-on-month. From January to October, total molybdenum concentrate production reached about 262,000 tons, up 3.26% year-on-year.
In October, the total molybdenum iron steel procurement volume was approximately 11,400 tons, down by over 900 tons from the previous month. From January to October, the cumulative molybdenum iron steel procurement volume reached about 133,000 tons, an increase of approximately 3.15% year-on-year.
In October, the total production of ammonium molybdate was approximately 4,300 tons, a 7% decrease from the previous month. From January to October, the total production reached about 50,300 tons, an increase of 3.46% year-on-year.
The total production of molybdenum powder in October was approximately 2,000 tons, a decrease of 3.15% compared to the previous month. The total production of molybdenum powder from January to October was approximately 20,300 tons, an increase of 3.42% compared to the same period last year.
The total production of steel molybdenum bars in October was approximately 500 tons, a decrease of 6% compared to the previous month. The total production of steel molybdenum bars from January to October was approximately 5,200 tons, an increase of 4.25% year-on-year.
